OUR APPROACH

At Summit Park College, students receive an education through both academic growth and practical hands-on experience. They experience academic growth through online courses provided by Evangel University and immersive, hands-on experience at Summit Park Church.

As students receive knowledge alongside real-world application, they are able to experience personal and spiritual growth. This program helps equip students to grow in their calling, strengthening their gifts which enables them step into their calling from God.

HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE

[Kid’s Ministry-Ranges from birth to 5th grade. Middle School & High School]

NextGen, you will help create engaging environments for kids, middle school, or high school students to grow in their faith through small groups, interactive lessons, and worship services. You’ll assist with events, volunteer coordination, teaching and behind-the-scenes operations while developing leadership and ministry skills. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a lasting impact on the next generation while growing in your own faith and leadership!

Creative Arts

[Graphics, Design, Social Media, Video Content, Photography]

Creative Arts, you will help bring stories to life and engage the church community through graphics, design, social media, video content, and photography. You’ll assist in creating visual content for services, events, and online platforms while developing technical skills in digital media and branding. This hands-on opportunity will allow you to grow in creativity and leadership while making a meaningful impact through church communication and storytelling.

[Tech, Audio-Visual, Lighting, Worship]

Worship & Production, you will help create powerful worship experiences by serving in tech, audio-visual, lighting, and live worship for services in every area of the church. You’ll assist with running production elements, leading worship, and supporting the behind-the-scenes execution of services and events. This hands-on opportunity will help you grow in musical and technical skills while developing leadership and a heart for worship ministry.

Pastoral Leadership, you will help lead and support discipleship, assimilation, preaching, teaching, and event/conference development to foster spiritual growth within the church. You’ll assist in developing messages, leading small groups, and planning impactful events while gaining hands-on ministry experience. This opportunity will equip you with leadership, communication, and pastoral skills to help you grow in your calling and make a lasting impact in ministry.
